The symposium on Development and Construction of Diversified Teacher Training Resources for International Chinese Language Education (No. 21YH036CX2) was heldboth online and offline simultaneously in the conference room School of Overseas Education,Sichuan University on June 18, 2022. This project was sponsored by International ChineseLanguageEducation Innovation Project of Center forLanguageEducation andCooperation of Ministry of Education. Mr.Chen,Taowei, the section chief of China Center for International People-to-People Exchange Ministry of Education, Professor Chang, Yongcai from School of Education, Minzu University of China, Professor Lei,Yong, dean of School of International languages and Cultures of Chongqing Normal University,as well as experts and scholars from School of Literature and Journalism and School of Overseas Education of Sichuan University attended thesymposium. In addition, three team members from ChengduMingdun Technology Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the meeting.The symposium, chaired by Gao,Wei, dean ofSchool of Overseas Education,was mainly divided into three parts: project report, expert guidance and on-site discussion.

First of all, Professor Lei,Li from the School of Overseas Educationmade an overall report as the project leader. She explained the starting point and goal of the project successively, and introduced the progress made so far and the work plan for the next stage in detail. She pointed out that theCOVID-19 pandemic era made all kinds of international Chineselanguage teacher training resource is particularly urgent. In order to solve the actual needs,her teamcontributed to the international Chinese education perfection andspecialization, modern technology application generalization and teacher training, from theperspectives ofrepository construction, project and other aspects of synergy and industrialization of language characteristics. Then,Mr.Chen, Junsheng, as the representative of Chengdu Mingdun Technology Company, introduced the content characteristics, plate Settings and expected results of the resource library. In terms of the technical structure,he helped to explain the technical guidance that the company can provide one by one, which won the affirmation and encouragement ofMr. Chen,Taowei.

Mr. Chen,Taowei pointed out in the expert guidance session that the construction and improvement of the resource library gave full play to the advantages of the current digital era and reflected the policy orientation and innovative development concept of this topic. In addition,healso put forward guiding suggestions on the project itself from all aspects and multi-dimensions from a large scale and high position. He proposed that the project should carry out the concept of cultural exchanges and cooperation, pay more attention to the needs of primary and secondary school teachers and the cultivation of teachers' global competence, and broaden the depth of the project. Professor Lei,Yong also put forward detailed suggestions from the specific contents and elements of the project. Professor Chang,Yongcai gave guidance from the perspective of the political nature of the project and provided forward-looking and constructive suggestions.

Finally, attendeesdiscussed onthe actual situation of teachers in Chengdu,theTraining Orientation for teachers in southwestChina and other issues. Throughfully demonstrating this project,attendees pointed out the direction of the concrete operation of the project and makes the subjectmore detailed and fuller at the same time. It is also of great significance to strengthen the cooperation between the Center forLanguageEducation andCooperationof Ministry of Education, School of Overseas Education and School of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University, and has a far-reaching influence on the talent training of international Chinese education and the long-term development of international Chineselanguage and cultureeducation.
