From January to September 2022, the School of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University completed the construction and demonstration work of "World Cultural Research Center", expanded the connotation and foundation of the construction in this direction, and promoted the construction of innovation 2035 pilot plan around the construction plan of high-level talent introduction, Chinese cultural inheritance and global communication digital fusion laboratory, achievement output, academic exchange and discourse communication.

We made every effort to promote the revision of the Chinese Dictionary, a major bidding project for social sciences in the country. Firstly, completed the construction of the framework and the initial debugging of"Database of revised Research results of" Chinese Dictionary " . Secondly, the National language Popularization Base of the Ministry of Education, the Research Base of Chinese Application and Standardization, is preparing to set up a computer-aided Putonghua test station. Thirdly, completed theproposal ofnational social science major bidding project-"Chinese Dictionary revision Research" (21&ZD300).

The number of monographs and papers at or above the C leve published by the college between January and September wereflat compared withthe same period last year.Totally 29 academic lectures and activities were held. 5 academic conferences were held. They were: the 2022 Symposium on Chinese traditional Culture and Modernization on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the International Symposium on the study of Chinese vulgar Culture from the dual Perspective of Literature and Field, the 2022 Annual meeting of the Chinese vulgar Literature Society, the fourth International Symposium on Intercultural Chinese characters, the seminar on East Asian Communication and Research of Lin Literature in Song Yuan Dynasty, and the International Forum on "the study of the Common value of all mankind contained in Chinese excellent traditional Culture"
